I’ve recently posted on Insta stories my morning workouts and have had loads of people ask which ones I do, so thought I’d pop a blog post up.
I much prefer heading into Lifestyle Boom to do a Pilates class as I find it more challenging and I push myself harder, but with my hubby being away a lot recently – I’ve had to come up with a way to stay fit at home.
I’ve written about ‘How I Keep on Track With Health and Wellness‘, which is an overview of everything I do to keep on track with health and wellness, including what I eat and bonus tips and tricks.
I’ve also had loads of people asking for my green smoothie recipe, so here it is!
Green Smoothie Recipe
1 x frozen banana
Kiwi fruit (skin on)
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
I recently read a blog post by Tarina from Oh Eight Oh Nine and I was really inspired by how she works out at home.
She included this 20 minute workout which I’ve been doing most mornings.
I set my gym gear out the night before, and as soon as I wake up (around 5 – 5.30am) I do my workout.
I don’t think about how I’ve been up four times during the night, or how tired I am.
I just do it!
Then I’m all done by 6am and reward myself with a coffee.
I sometimes do a couple of ten minute workouts in one day.
I might do ten minutes of abs, ten minutes of legs, and ten minutes of arms.
Breaking it up into ten minute sessions keeps me from getting bored and helps me stay motivated.
I love Fitness Blender Pilates based workouts and I really enjoy the arm workout below too – who doesn’t love toned arms?
Staying fit, healthy and strong has never been easier or more convenient – even if you can’t get to a gym or fitness class.
The key is staying focused, being consistent and eating well.
