I wish we could go back and do it all over again.
A spectacular sunshiny day spent with the most glamorous ladies.
The setting at Rochelle Adonis was just breathtaking.
An abundance of fresh roses, crystal decanters, antique sugar bowls, vintage tea cups enjoying the most delicious hand crafted bites, including AH-MAZING donuts; sipping Oyster Bay bubbles all whilst experiencing luscious Sodashi goodness.
There was so much gorgeous attention to detail including hand massages and amazing gift bags thanks to the lovely Rachel and Amy from Sodashi and exceptional service from the incredible team at Rochelle Adonis, headed up by General Manager Claire.
Special guests included Nat from Ilyas Honey Jewellery, Elisa from Cinque Candle Co, Yvette from Little Bento World, Paula from Shop Now HQ, Nikki Milne from The Perth Collective and Gemma Walsh from The Social Pages who took loads of happy snaps on the day (check to see if your photo is featured!).
It was a massive leap of faith for me to agree to host the Sodashi high tea and speak on the day.
I’m terrified of public speaking.
And I’m not talking about just getting a few butterflies beforehand.
I feel sick every time I think about it, and even woke one morning before the event at 3am feeling anxious and not being able to get back to sleep.
But I’m so passionate about how Sodashi has transformed my skin over the past few years, I wasn’t going to let self doubt and fear get in the way of sharing my story.
The event was just so special and beautiful, and after I spoke – I loved chatting with all the gorgeous ladies who came along.
Some are friends through the wonderful world of Instagram – and it was so much fun putting faces to Insta account names!
Other ladies were readers of my blog – which always blows me away as I still think it’s just my hubby, mum and a few friends who read.
And other guests were really keen to find out more about Sodashi, and were able to experience many of the beautiful skin care products at the high tea.
I enlisted the help of some very talented people to help me look and feel my best on the day.
The lovely Tamzin Mulder painted my face, Penni from Aussie Bombshell gave me a gorgeous glow (best spray tan ever!) and Luke from Maurice Meade gave me beautiful soft waves which were perfect for an elegant high tea.
A lot of people have asked about my dress; it’s by Lover. One of those dresses I feel so comfortable and confident in, even though it was an oldie – it was perfect for the day.
Thank you to all the beautiful ladies who came along – the event was even more special and beautiful than I could have imagined.
I’m still dreaming about those donuts! 😉
