Hello lovelies. It’s been a week since my last post. I’m working on a couple of upcoming things for my blog, but in the meantime I thought I would share a few little snaps from my home – where I’m spending most of my time with my two beautiful girls.
Mwah!

As someone who has been lucky enough to be welcomed into your home, I can honestly say it is beautiful. Not just aesthetically or the way you’ve decorated, but because it’s filled with love and laughter. I hope to be able to visit you again one day soon!

Whoops! To answer your questions, some of my favourite items in our home are the distressed 3m dining table we recently bought, the fabulous IKEA black and white cushions on our couch (as featured in the Spring Edit: Black, White and Citrus post I wrote here!) and a beautiful circular mirrored tray I recently won in a competition. I get a lot of my decorating inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest, Real Living magazine and Inside Out magazine.

Ooooh – yes, I love your fab new homewares! Can’t wait to see more on your blog 🙂 x x x
My favourite piece of furniture is my 8 seater Jarrah dining table that I have moved to 5 different houses and interstate. Apart from that my favourite things are the wall of windows and my magnificent view, which i use as my decorating inspiration.
Sounds gorgeous Jo 🙂 What is your view of? x x
I have nearly 1 acre of gardens and trees with a river at the bottom, then i look over a cherry farm and on to Sleeping Beauty Mountain. I live in the Huon Valley in Tassie. It is magnificent here, its peaceful and green. (there is an open album on my FB page of my garden )
Jo this sounds absolutely divine! I must check out your FB page! x x
I love all the colour Amy. We are in the process of renovating right now and i cant wait to see the end result. I spend too much time on pinterest but with two small boys and a sports mad husband i am determined the feminine touches will be seen.
Good for you Jo! Our home used to be very masculine, but it’s amazing what a few cushions, candles and flowers can do to bring a feminine touch 🙂 x x
Lovely pics Amy! Your home looks like it’s filled with beautiful treasures! x

Awwww, thanks so much Tammy. x x x
Hi Amy, lots of beautiful feminine touches in your lovely home. I love girlie things in my home too, but my favourite things are the pieces of furniture that I have painted antique white. Especially a very large pine dresser that we received for a wedding gift. It had yellowed with age, so I gave it a “vintage” makeover with paint and glass knobs and I adore it. I also love my china teapots and teacups that I have collected over the years. (Which fill the dresser)
Oh Erin, your dresser sounds DIVINE!! I also collect tea cups, but sadly have nowhere to display them, so they sit hidden away in a cupboard. One day I find something / somewhere to display them :)x x
So pretty some of my favourite things in my home are my collection of owls and vintage tea cup and saucers .
I love my vintage tea cups and saucers too Lisa 🙂 x x
I LOVE those 3 little suit cases, absolutely gorgeous! I can only imagine what a beautiful home you have – filled with pretty delights and lots of love! x
Hi Amy
Where did u purchase the skirt and the 3 suitcases? These would be perfect to fill for a newborn baby! The colours are just Devine! Actuall i adore all your goodies!! Xx
Hi Amy, so sweet of you to share some snippets of your home. Especially when you are in the public eye, it must be hard to keep some things private in the fishbowl! The favourite thing about my home is the people I share it with! They truly make all the house a home, even if it is a little disorganised with 4 little bambino’s, a hubby and a dog! Dee x
It’s been a while since this post but was wondering where you purchased the three suitcases. Thanks .
Hi Samone, I got the from Down That Little Lane:http://downthatlittlelane.com.au/oliver-s-twisty-tales/product/21118-girls-suitcase-set x x
