It seems like just yesterday I wrote my first ‘Bump Chic’ post at 17 weeks, and here we are almost at the finish line with only a week to go! It’s been a crazy month having home improvements done, and now I finally feel ready – the babies room is all set up, the capsule is installed, my hospital bag is packed and we are ready for this bubba to arrive! With a beautiful hint of Spring sunshine, I added a splash of colour to my outfit with THE comfiest fuchsia Misano ballet flats (they seriously feel like slippers!!), hot pink lipstick and a pink cuff. I’ve added a couple of versatile pieces to my wardrobe like this Witchery shirt which will be perfect for feeding once the baby arrives.
A few people have recently asked me where I get Ava’s clothes from, and the answer is: everywhere!! At the beginning of each season I start off with basic tees and tops from Target because I find they wash and wear the best, and are also the best value for money. Then I’ll add fun leggings, accessories and shoes from Seed, Witchery, Country Road, Cotton On, Big W etc. I tend to spend a little more on special occasion outfits and less on day to day basics like Pyjama’s and play clothes. Cotton On have the best tutu’s for girls and at $7 a pop on sale – you can afford to have a selection! We’ve also been given fabulous gifts like this Ralph Lauren cardigan which Ava has got so much wear out of, as we take it just about everywhere we go in case she gets a bit cold.
