Gorgeous Elle Demasi is dating one of Australia’s highest profile sport stars, yet she prefers to stay out of the limelight. I caught up with her to find out more about her life, style and how she deals with all the attention that goes with being Nic Nat’s girl.
Congratulations on almost completing your teaching degree, how have your last few weeks of prac been?
I’m teaching a split year 1/2 class, I’ve taught mainly upper school in my previous pracs but I have to say I love teaching the little ones. It is lots of fun singing and dancing for them and they just absolutely adore you. They always put a smile on my face.
You looked so elegant and sophisticated at the Brownlow last year wearing Aurelio Costarella. How would you describe your style and who are your biggest fashion influences?
Oh I was super nervous but excited about the Brownlow, I had no idea what to expect and didn’t know where to start. All I knew is I wanted to keep it simple and elegant. Luckily Aurelio Costarella and Paul O’Connor are close family friends and of course, I couldn’t think of anyone better than Aurelio to dress me.
His dresses are just stunning and we chose one we both thought looked and fitted the best. We decided on silver shoes, minimal jewellery because the shoulders on my dress were so busy, and a mirrored purse to match the dress. I always wear my hair out so wearing it up was different for me but i loved it. Marie Uva from Rokk Ebony did my hair and she was just amazing! I love smokey eyes so decided to stick with that for make up, both my hair and make up turned out to be exactly what I had hoped, so I was very happy. Kerry Cox was so lovely during the whole process before we stepped onto the red carpet she gave me a run down of what to expect and how to walk. Looking at myself from that night makes me laugh, I honestly don’t know how I looked so calm when I was actually dying inside and squeezing Nic’s hand the entire time.
With my everyday fashion, I like to keep things simple. I prefer to choose comfort over trends, but of course when occasion calls I like to dress up as much as the next girl. I love simple elegant designs that show off the figure. As much as the Kardashians sister cop flack I do love their style. A fitted dress with a boyfriend blazer or tight jeans with a cute pair of heels are my perfect picks.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? What are your passions besides teaching?
I’ve been dancing since I was 4 years old so it’s more of a hobby for me. It’s been great for me to keep up my fitness. I’ve also taken up boxing this year and I love it! I’m an absolute movie buff and love nothing more then curling up on the couch in my PJ’s. I’m a bit of an old school movie lover, nothing beats the Godfather trilogy, I just love them! My favourite actor of all time is Denzel Washington. Nic and I love all his movies, especially Man on Fire and John Q.
You’re the partner of one of the most famous players in the AFL, how do you deal with all of the attention?
It’s not really me that gets the attention I usually end up being photographer for his fans! I’m just really proud of how he inspires people and is such a positive role model.
Thanks so much Elle for taking the time to have a chat with me!
