I’m 25 weeks pregnant tomorrow and my baby bump is growing bigger every day. The past few months I’ve pulled out everything that’s stretchy or loose and flowy to make up my pregnancy wardrobe. During the day I mix and match a couple of essentials, including leggings, long sleeved tops and loose cardigans and accessorise with colourful scarves, jewellery and flats to add a bit of fun to my outfit. There are loads of stretchy, ruched and tunic style clothes in the shops which means I haven’t necessarily had to resort to maternity wear for my pregnancy wardrobe.
I painted my nails this deep, sparkly blue last week and I’m loving it so much! It’s a fun and easy way to add some colour and sparkle to my everyday look seeing as my fashion choices are limited.
I’ve also added a couple of smarter pieces to my pregnancy wardrobe, including this very clever, stretchy ruched dress. It works just as well with long flat boots for a casual day time look or with ankle boots for a smarter look.

I thought I should have at least one special dress in my pregnancy wardrobe, in case I had any events to go to – and sure enough I was invited along to a fab night out for the launch of the Maurice Meade Winter campaign. I learnt years ago that it’s better to have an amazing dress or outfit tucked away ‘just in case’ than frantically search for one when you get invited along somewhere special. And even if a special occasion doesn’t pop up, you have an excuse to get dressed up and go somewhere amazing!

Thank goodness shoes still (mostly!) fit during pregnancy! I pulled out my glitter booties for drinks with the girls last night and styled my outfit around them, wearing two pregnancy wardrobe staples – a tunic and leggings with a blazer. Too easy!
So that’s my pregnancy wardrobe so far, with 3 months to go I’ll add a few more inexpensive and fun items here and there – let me know if you see anything fabulous!
