I haven’t been feeling that fantastic these past few weeks. It’s been a combination of suddenly feeling much bigger with my baby bump popping out, Ava deciding she doesn’t need an afternoon nap anymore and she’s also been waking up during the night. Basically, I’ve been feeling ‘blah’!
During the week I realised I hadn’t been taking any photos of my growing bump and popped a pic up on Instagram. I had SO many beautiful comments and it put a little spring back in my step. I know that we shouldn’t rely on compliments to make us feel good, but you know what? Sometimes it doesn’t hurt either. So thank you to all of you who made me feel just that bit better.
My hubby took these quick snaps of Ava and I yesterday after we had coffee at a fabulous little place called Venn in the city. My outfit is a combination of pieces I’ve had in my wardrobe for ages now. I’ve had so many problems finding clothes that fit, but this is a great casual, comfy, cafe look so I thought I’d share it with you. I haven’t had to resort to many maternity pieces as yet, but I’m going to have to in the next few weeks with this growing bump of mine!
A bit of bling is the best way to make a casual outfit pop, and this necklace has been on high rotation in my wardrobe. Jewellery is the ultimate accessory for maternity wear, along with scarves and bright lipstick. I’ve worn this comfy cardigan to death since last season, and it’s clearly been a winner as Witchery have it back in stock this season.
