Perth’s had some exciting new restaurants and bars open recently, and to celebrate my birthday last week some friends organised dinner at The Trustee. I couldn’t wait to check it out!
Me and my gorgeous friend Louise, hasn’t she got the best tan?
Sister love – Emma and Kate.. (and a fab Costarella stole!)
The restaurant is located downstairs from the bar and is dark, stylish and intimate – it has a bit of a Melbourne vibe happening. We indulged in the beetroot carpaccio, mushroom bruschetta and mini cheese plate for entrée and the servings were surprisingly big. If we had known they would be so generous, we probably would have chosen to share instead of ordering an entrée each.
Cheese board – I didn’t get to try this as I was too busy talking 😉
For mains, we opted for the black and white crab linguini and the beef cheeks with garlic mash and bacony peas – the beef cheeks were rich and melt in your mouth delicious and the linguini was pasta perfection.

Beautiful artwork – love the era
By this stage we were so full that sadly, there was no room for dessert, even though I had my heart set on the chocolate salted caramel with crème fraiche ice cream. This means that there will have to be another visit very soon. Perhaps next time will be a date night with my hubby?
We might have gone out for a cheeky glass of bubbles afterwards….. crazeeee!
I’m a guest over at Shop Me Chic today, come say hi and check out my Greek Island holiday style.
