In my Winter Wardrobe post last Friday, I stumbled across an amazing pair of sequin pants from Bardot. Then Andrea from Fox in Flats issued a sparkle dare this week, and I became obsessed with finding the ultimate sequin skirt. I put my quest out there over Twitter and amazingly, Andrea put her shopping prowess to the test and came up with this post dedicated to my search for a sequin skirt – how’s that for service? In the meantime, I had uncovered a whole host of other glittery garments that I just can’t take my eyes off.

These are the sensational sequin pants from Bardot. You could rock them with a black sheer shirt as shown here, or throw a faux fur vest over the top for texture overload!
Asos Gold Sequin Dress – $89.21
This dress is a beautifully classic shape and the gold sequins are just heavenly. It’s such a knockout that it doesn’t need anything more than a fabulous pair of heels.
Sportsgirl Sassy Collar Necklace – $29.95
I’m loving fun collars at the moment. This could be a fab look for work with a pencil skirt, heels and top. Or you could wear it with a t-shirt and jeans for a cheeky day time look.
Saba Sequin Tank – $169
This shiny tank would look amazing with leather pants / leggings, a jacket and sky high heels. It would be perfect for a hot dinner date or a fun night out with the girls.
Zoe Wittner Amber Red Sequin Shoes – $169.95
These shoes should be called ‘There’s No Place Like Home’ and are sure to make your day, and everyone else’s for that matter! It would be so much fun to look down at your feet and see all those gorgeous red glittery sequins shining right back at you.
Forever New Vanessa Sequin Stripe Tunic – $89.95
This is such a great way to rock sequins during the day. You could wear it to work with black skinny pants, heels and some glittery neck candy; or during the day with leggings and loafers.

I bought the Wittner Amber heels last year after about 4 months of will I?/won’t I? They sold out of my size during that time, restocked and then almost sold out again – I bought the last pair in my size available at either of the local Wittner stores.
I LOVE them. Like the red lipstick that I have started to wear in the past 8 months, these red heels just add a real lift to my day whenever I wear them. They look fantastic with a pair of jeans, which makes them much more versatile that I originally thought when I bought them. I feel far less ‘frumpy mum’ just knowing that they are in my wardrobe. 🙂
