YAY!!!
It’s Friday!
Fizzy Friday for me as I’m off to celebrate one of my best friends birthdays.
WOO HOO!
How’s your week been?
This week has kicked my butt a little.
Lack of sleep and feeling rundown has meant I’ve had low energy and even felt anxious at times.
I revisited the brilliant post by Dr Monique Robinson about How to Cope With Stress and Anxiety.
Lots of deep breaths!
Exercise has really helped me get through the week.
I discovered Pilates by Lisa, a series of brilliant at home Pilates sessions.
Perfect for anyone who wants to check out Pilates in the comfort of their own home, at their own pace.
There are lots of 10 – 15 minute sessions targeting specific areas of the body.
Very achievable, even for beginners.
I also tried Xtend Barre for the first time and LOVED it! (Can you spot me below?)
It’s going to really kick my butt into shape for our little family getaway in the sunshine next month.
As much as I love exercise for fitness and strength, more than anything I love how it’s good for my mind.
It helps me feel centred and gives me energy and motivation.
This week I’ve also loved watching a fantastic new initiative by Nikki Milne called The Perth Collective blossom and grow.
An amazing platform for WA based small brands and businesses to shine!
If you have a small or start up business in WA – make sure you follow The Perth Collective for your chance to be featured.
And lastly – there’s nothing like seeing a family doing it tough to put EVERYTHING into very harsh perspective.
Beautiful Bonnie (pictured sitting down in a wheelchair above) is one of four children and she goes to Ava’s school.
While her Dad works FIFO, her mum Pippa has had to relocate all four children from the country since July last year while Bonnie is undergoing treatment for brain cancer at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Pippa and her family are doing it tough and if you can contribute something to Help Bonnie Fight Childhood Cancer – $10, $20, $50, $100 – anything to make life easier for beautiful Bonnie and her family – it would be SO much appreciated.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
