Special memories and magical moments.
That’s what childhood is all about.
We had the most wonderful morning celebrating Ava’s 4th ‘Beauty and the Beast’ party with close family and the best of friends.
Ava said it was ‘The best day ever’!
Jennifer from Love JK created the most beautiful invitations, custom bunting, lunch boxes and custom stickers for the favour boxes and mini milk bottles. Jen was a dream to work with and the ultimate professional.
Thank you to so many people for making Ava’s birthday a huge success, Encore Kids Parties provided the entertainment – Princess Belle and The Beast were simply amazing, the kids (and loads of the adults too!) were mesmerised!
I asked Ava what her favourite part of the day was and she said ‘When Princess Belle sang ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for me’.
Amber from The Coffee Gypsy provided delicious Essenza coffee which was a massive hit with all the parents. Amber was so professional and helpful, it was really lovely having her part of our special day.
Katerina from My Petite Sweets created the most exquisite biscuits, they were a complete surprise for us – Katerina said ‘leave it to me’ and I was blown away when they were delivered!
Thanks also to Paula from Shop Now HQ who provided stunning giant tulle covered balloons, along with the Beauty and the Beast party plates and napkins.
Many thanks to the gorgeous Sarah Fong who came and took happy snaps of us, too many times I’ve looked through photos after birthday parties only to discover I was so busy taking snaps of everyone else – I wasn’t actually in any of them!
Sarah took photos of the decor and styling and had such a lovely way with the children and mixed so easily and effortlessly with our guests – if you are looking for a photographer for a wedding, family photos or for a special occasion – Sarah is your girl.
The Queen of Cakes created Ava’s beautiful Princess Belle cake and I was amazed by her attention to detail – the addition of Belle’s pink bouquet and the delicate pink sugar flowers were all lovely little surprises, and the cake was delicious!
Pretty little posies were created by Flowers by Pep, they were beautiful little touches to the party – thanks so much Pep.
We hired the kids trestle tables, chairs and tablecloths from Dream A Little Dream and they were fantastic to work with.
A special shout out to Jessica from The Butcher Baker Stylist for giving me the inspo for the glitter donuts which I am a little bit obsessed with, and a massive big THANK YOU to Sarah from The Sweet Remedy for hunting down a jar of glitter rainbow dust when mine didn’t arrive in time in the mail.
I also baked a slightly different version of Bill Grangers Choc Oatmeal Cookies using mini M & M’s rather than chocolate chips for the kids lunch boxes.
For the children I made individual love heart and star cream cheese and rainbow sprinkle sandwiches, tiers of grapes and popcorn, a veggie platter with tzatziki dip, mini packs of sultanas, jelly, party pies and sausage rolls and my mum made little tea cups which were a massive hit.
For the adults, I made glitter donuts, mini ham and cheese croissants, a fruit platter and Rocky Road.
A little bit naughty and a little bit nice!
Thanks again to everyone who came along and celebrated with us, we are so blessed to have the most beautiful family and friends.
Baz said he hopes everyone really enjoyed the party as the next one we throw will be for Ava’s 18th – ha ha!
We’ll be talking about Ava’s magical ‘Beauty and The Beast’ party for many, many years to come.
