My girls love pasta, I keep a tub in the fridge to enjoy as snacks on the go. We love all types; fusilli, farfalle, penne, spaghetti and Ava will often ask to add peas and corn to create a little pasta salad.
For this lunch box, Ava helped choose some crunchy carrots (her words), juicy grape tomatoes and a delicious avocado which we made into a creamy dip. We made a little farfalle pasta salad and sliced up a sweet, crunchy Pink Lady apple. YUM!
Something important to remember is that our children’s diet fuels their learning and helps maintain their concentration levels at school, so it’s important to give them lots of healthy options.
What’s in the Lunch Box?
Sliced Pink Lady apple
Farfalle pasta with peas and corn
Avocado dip, with a squeeze of lemon (to stop it going brown)
