I’ve always loved trying lots of different beauty products. During my time as cabin crew it was so important to have a whole bag of tricks to help stay fresh on long haul flights.
These days as a busy Mumma of two, I have very limited time to get ready each morning so I look for the very best products, and if they manage to do a couple of things at once then it’s a big tick from me! These are my top picks for November:
Sodashi Eye Lifting Gel: This is my biggest saviour when I wake up and have big puffy bags under my eyes. I pop it in the fridge to make it even more soothing and refreshing. LOVE!
Nivea Dry Comfort: I’m really fussy when it comes to deodorant, I’ve tried so many over the years I really haven’t been impressed with. I picked this one up recently and LOVE it. It’s a very clean, fresh fragrance and it takes me through the whole day from a Power Pilates class in the morning to running after my girls at the park in the afternoon.
Image Skin Care Prevention: This is my my star product for the month! If you buy one new product this Summer, make it this one. I’m so happy I found it. It’s a tinted moisturiser and sunscreen all in one and most importantly, it’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t make my skin shiny. I find most are just too heavy and greasy on my skin, but this one’s a winner! The tint would work well on most skin complexions from pale to medium. If I need a little extra coverage, I pop some concealer and mineral powder over the top and I’m good to go. I got mine from The London Clinic.
Grown Alchemist Vanilla and Watermelon Lip Balm: YUM! This was a happy find in a Virgin Australia pack that my hubby brought home from a work trip. It’s delicious and really soothing for dry lips. I sometimes apply it over my lipstick if I want a glossy finish. It’s also organic, so I’m happy to pop it on my girls lips if they’re a bit dry.
Simple Eye Make Up Remover: I’ve tried lots of different eye make up removers over the years and keep coming back to this one. Effective, gentle and doesn’t leave that horrible greasy residue that so many others do.
So there you have it, my five favourite products right now, I’d love to know what yours are!
