Last night Morrison kicked off the Perth Fashion Festival 2012 shows at the Perth Museum with a capsule ‘Retrospect’ collection of cobalt blue, crisp white, black and gorgeous green prints.
The collection was sleek and sophisticated and reminiscent of husband and wife duo Kylie Radford and Richard Poulsens work over the past decade of luxe everyday wear, while incorporating some more structured pieces.
The star of the night was undoubtedly the gorgeous guide dog who closed the show to a massive round of applause and drew a flurry of attention afterwards. One of his biggest fans was Premier Colin Barnett who came over to say hello.
Finally I got to meet the incredible Laura of Peanut Moonbeam Knickers, Laura has just completed 30 Days of Restyle for PFF. I’ve been following her blog for a few months now and love her super quirky style, last night she was wearing a fabulous floor length tutu.
I was also introduced to Wayne Cooper who attended the show with Perth businessman Wayne Teo and his lovely wife Amanda. He’ll be a special guest at todays Myer luncheon and VIP evening.

I actually clapped with excitement when I saw the pic of you and Laura 🙂 Two of my favourite Perth bloggers in one picture! I loved the printed dresses so much, as did Ri – she kept wanting to look and saying “pretty”. Looks like you’re having an amazing time at PFF xx
She’s gorgeous! And so lovely, she introduced me to Kim Blonde Suburbia and Heart Bleecker…. all such fun and fabulous girls. You’ll have to come up next year 🙂 A xxx
I’ve already told mum she’s babysitting for a few days while I go up there haha! You ladies will all be sick of me once PFF is finished next year 🙂
What a beautiful collection. I am a HUGE guide dog lover – in fact, I’ve been sponsoring guide dogs for several years now. I think they do an amazing job. Sonia xx
